Dark Chocolate Mixed Nut Cups

Savory sweet dark chocolaty nut cups. Healthier option to a Reese’s cup and helps that sweet tooth.

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

» 1 Cup Dark chocolate (60% cocoa or higher)

» ½ Cup Mix nut butter (or 100% natural peanut butter with a tsp chia seeds)

» 2 Tbsp 100% Maple syrup

» Reusable cupcake liners (or disposable cupcake liners)

Directions:

Put chocolate into a microwave safe dish and heat for 20 seconds and stir, repeat this about 3 more times till chocolate is melted.

While chocolate is heating take nut butter and place into a small bowl and add maple syrup and mix.

Put cupcake liners into muffin tin. Take 1 Tbsp of chocolate and put into a liner, place 1 tsp nut butter mix into the middle of the chocolate. Put ½ Tbsp chocolate on top and spread around. Repeat this till all the chocolate and nut butter is gone, should be about six liners.

Place into freezer and let it harden for about 15 minutes. Store in air tight container in fridge.

Cooking Tips:

Make sure to only heat chocolate for 20 seconds and stir for each interval or it will burn.
