Brown Rice Breakfast Bowl
Easy savory sweet rice breakfast bowl packed with protein, healthy carbs, healthy fats, and vitamins.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

» 1 1/3 Cup Leftover Brown rice (or steel cut oats, quinoa)

» 4 Medjool dates

» 2 tsp Chia seeds

» 2 tsp Flax seeds

» 1 tsp Cinnamon

» ½ cup Unsalted Almonds (sliced or crushed)

» 1 Cup Blue berries (or any other kind of berry)

» 2 Cups Unsweetened almond milk or oat milk

Directions:

Chop up dates and if using whole almonds crush them up. Use either stove or microwave to heat up. Microwave: Divide up into 4 separate bowls. In each bowl add 1/3 cup rice, one chopped up date, almonds, ½ tsp chia seeds, ½ tsp flax seeds, ¼ tsp cinnamon and ½ cup milk of choice mix together. Heat up for 1-2 minutes add ¼ cup blue berries on to. Mix all together and enjoy. Stove: Add all the ingredients except for the blue berries to a pot, mix together. Heat up for about 8 minutes on medium heat till warm. Add in blue berries and mix together.

Cooking Tips:

If you do not have leftover brown rice, you can always cook some the night before. This way you do not have to wait for the rice to cook the morning of. If you like blue berries cooked, feel free to add them in before heating up.
