» 2 Large Gala apples (or any kind you have)

» 3 Tbsp Maple syrup

» 1 tsp vanilla

» 1 Tbsp Chia seeds

» ½ tsp Cinnamon

» ¼ tsp Nutmeg

Topping:

» 2 Tbsp Monk fruit sugar

» 2 Tbsp Miyoko’s creamy butter (or saltless butter)

» ¼ tsp Cinnamon

» 1/8 tsp Nutmeg

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F; while oven heats up rinse apples and slice into wedges. In a bowl add apples and the rest of the apple mix ingredients and mix together. Put in a greased 8x6x2” baking pan. In another bowl melt butter and add rest of the topping ingredients and mix together. Place the topping mixer onto the apple mixer. Bake for 15 Minutes till the apple are soft and the top is starting to brown.

Cooking Tips:

Keep an eye on the apple crumble while it is cooking to make sure the top does not burn. You can always use another kind of fruit if you do not have apples (2 pears, 2 peaches, 2 cups strawberries, etc.).
